Vladimir Putin continues to receive congratulations on his win in the presidential election
French Prime Minister Francois Fillon congratulated Prime Minister Putin over the telephone on his victory in the presidential election.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani, China's President Hu Jintao and Uzbek President Islam Karimov also conveyed their congratulations to Vladimir Putin over the telephone.
Vladimir Putin has received congratulatory messages from President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang, President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak, President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Prime Minister of China Wen Jiabao and President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin spoke over the phone with President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj of Mongolia, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of India, President Abdullah Gul of Turkey and President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus who congratulated Mr Putin on his victory in the presidential election.
