Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulated the incumbent Austrian Federal President, Heinz Fischer, on preliminary results indicating he is set to win a majority in the presidential election.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin also spoke by telephone with Austrian Federal Chancellor Werner Faymann, who was with President Fischer.
