Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulates Heinz Fischer on his high preliminary results in the Austrian presidential election

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulated the incumbent Austrian Federal President, Heinz Fischer, on preliminary results indicating he is set to win a majority in the presidential election.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin also spoke by telephone with Austrian Federal Chancellor Werner Faymann, who was with President Fischer.
