Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message of condolence to Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, in connection with the earthquake in Qinghai

The message reads, in part:

"I was grieved to learn about the devastating earthquake in the province of Qinghai that claimed many lives and caused severe damage.

On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the families of those who died and wish those injured a speedy recovery".
