Born in 1957 in Gdansk.
Education
1980: Graduated in history from Gdansk University.
Experience
1980-1981: Editor at Wydawnictwo Morskie (Marine Publishers)
1982-1983: Editor at Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie (Kashubian-Pomeranian Union).
During martial law: Edited underground publications and earned a living doing industrial high-rise work.
1989-1991: Assistant editor of Gazeta Gdanska (Gdansk Gazette).
1991: Elected to the Sejm on the Liberal-Democratic Congress's ticket.
After LDC was routed in the 1993 elections, he returned to Gdansk.
