

In March 2009, during the negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Sanjaagiin Bayar in Moscow, it was agreed that Mongolia would be granted a loan for agriculture sector development. Following the deal, JSC Rosagroleasing held talks with the Farming Support Fund of Mongolia to agree on the range, quantity and delivery conditions of the farm equipment and materials equal to the initial loan tranche of $25 million.
Further talks with the manufacturers of the equipment and materials facilitated agreement on terms of delivery. The total quantities of the farm equipment and materials to be supplied are as follows:
Tractors - 295 units;
Tractor drawn trailer - 219 units;
Tillage machines - 170 units;
Grain cleaning machines - 300 units;
Wheat grain - 8,000 tons;
Diesel fuel - 5,000 tons.
Additionally, a foreign trade contract was signed to supply a first batch of equipment (19 tractors) to Mongolia.
Other talks focused on the delivery scheme and the price for the 10,000 tons of diesel fuel to be supplied to Mongolia, including 5,000 tons for the 2009 sowing season through JSC Rosneft.
