Famous traveller Fyodor Konyukhov, who will be leading the expedition, spoke with Prime Minister Putin about the project. Mr Putin wished Mr. Konyukhov the very best of luck on his expedition.
Mr Putin also laid flowers at the Marshal Georgy Zhukov Memorial, visited the Holy Trinity Church of the Russian Orthodox Church's Moscow Patriarchate and examined the farm equipment which had been delivered to Mongolia in accordance with the bilateral agreement to grant a loan for the country's agriculture sector development.
