Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark

Born May 15, 1964.

1992: Graduated from the University of Copenhagen with a degree in law.

1985: Board member of the Venstre Liberal Party’s youth branch. Served as its chairman in 1986-1990.

Folketing deputy from 1994-1998, and since 2001.

Since 1998: Deputy chairman of Venstre.

1998-2001: Chairman of the Frederiksborg municipality.

2001-2007: Minister of the Interior and Health.

2007-2009: Minister of Finance.

 On April 5, 2009, he succeeded Anders Fogh Rasmussen as prime minister following Anders Fogh Rasmussen's appointment as NATO Secretary General.

He wrote and published Løkkeland, The Association Manual, and If I Get Old in the latter half of 1990s.

Married, with three children.
