

Russian automaker SOLLERS manages six main production facilities, namely, the Ulyanovsk Automotive Plant (UAZ) and the Zavolzhsky Engine Plant, as well as automotive plants in the Republic of Tatarstan built in the past three years in cooperation with foreign automakers. The latter are known as SOLLERS - Naberezhnye Chelny and SOLLERS - Yelabuga. SOLLERS also includes the SeverStalAvto-Isuzu joint venture and the new SOLLERS-Far East assembly plant in Vladivostok.
SOLLERS also implements projects in joint car-component production, including the new SOLLERS-Shtamp stamping plant, a automotive seat cooperative venture with South Korea's DaeWon company, etc.
Moreover, SOLLERS has expanded its own retail dealer and service-centre chain which now includes eight outlets in major Russian cities.
The company posts an annual turnover of about 60 billion roubles and employs almost 25,000 workers.
SOLLERS works with Italian automotive giant FIAT, cooperating on Fiat Albea and Fiat Doblo production, as well as the light-weight FIAT Ducato vans, in Russia. SOLLERS and Japan's Isuzu jointly manufacture trucks. Moreover, SOLLERS cooperates with Korea's SsangYong SUV manufacturer.
In the past four years, SOLLERS has marketed over 10 new vehicle models, constructed new assembly facilities with an annual capacity for 300,000 cars and invested about $700 million in modern and competitive production facilities and products.
