The 46th clinic is an important health care facility in the Kirovsky District in Ufa. It offers a treatment capacity of 410 patients per shift.
The clinic has two therapeutics departments, a number of subspecialty and functional diagnostics departments, two day hospitals (therapeutics and neurological), a rehabilitation unit and an emergency department with ambulance service. The facility also features cardiology, gastroenterology and pulmonology schools where patients can obtain information on diseases and methods of treatment.
The current staffing level of medical and paramedical personnel is at 90% and 97%, respectively. A population of 37,400, including 26,568 employed, is served by the clinic.
The facility is linked to the united information network of the healthcare system, and consists of three main components:
The first component is the integrated digital front desk that allows individuals to use a multichannel telephone line or the Internet to book an appointment instead of having to wait in a queue. Appointments are made two weeks in advance.
The second component provides record-keeping on each patient for all available services and cash register management for insurance payment.
The third component manages patient record-keeping for those with social benefits and also a prescription and pharmaceutical inventory for those patients.
The clinic has been using social insurance cards issued to residents of the Republic of Bashkortostan for patient services for two years. The introduction of the card system made it easier for the patients with social benefits to receive health care services by speeding up checking-in, paper work and the issue of social prescriptions, thus freeing up additional time for patient examinations.
