The health and fitness centre building was completed in February 2008. The overall area measures 3,992.4 square metres. The health and fitness centre includes:
- 1 sports hall: 2,539.7 square metres;
- a viewing platform accommodating 200 people;
- offices and utility rooms.
The health and fitness centre has hosted 16 city and 4 regional competitions, 1 championship of the Central Federal District, and 1 national championship.
In addition, seminars and practical workshops are held for teachers and principals of schools in the region.
Every week, at weekends, the health and fitness centre holds championships for mini football, 4 leagues, in which 650 people take part.
The health and fitness centre also hosts:
- Special Child and Youth Olympic School No. 4 for track and field (430 students)
- Child and Youth School No. 6 for combat sports (265 students)
In addition, the health and fitness centre holds exercise classes for students of secondary general schools No. 23, No. 9, No. 6 and special youth sports school No. 8 (500 students).
The health and fitness centre offers free classes in track and field, wrestling, karate, kick-boxing and Taekwondo.
210 people exercise at the health and fitness centres daily. On average 5,250 people use the sports facilities each month, and 47,270 use them annually.
