Russian Railways' Narzan Valley Sanatorium is located in the centre of Kislovodsk resort town, near the railway station.
The internationally recognised four-star sanatorium has also received an award from the Russian Government.
The Sanatorium is open year round, and is currently fully booked. More 5,000 people visit the Sanatorium each year.
The modern treatment and diagnostic centre is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment from the world's leading companies. Over 2,000 treatment and diagnostic procedures are carried out each year.
In 2001, the latest round of renovation work was completed on Narzan Valley Sanatorium. This renovation involved 4.2 hectares of land, featuring six dormitory blocks; a business class villa; a treatment and healthcare complex; two restaurants that can serve up to 250 and 80 people respectively; a sports and fitness centre featuring a swimming pool, an exercise hall, a gym, a sauna, a water park, tennis courts, a solarium and billiard halls; and an entertainment centre with a conference hall for up to 30 people, a library, a child's playroom, a bar, a dance hall, and an auditorium for up to 220 people.
The following facilities are available to those vacationing at the Sanatorium: air conditioning, satellite television, national and international telephone calls, payphones, ATMs, shops, rental centres, hairdressing salons, laundry and dry cleaning services, a sewing workshop, a protected car park, and mobile phone pay terminals.
