The Agrocomplex Company was set up in 1993 when a fodder producing plant merged with a cattle fattening farm. Its founders - 7,600 shareholders - are all individuals.
Today, Agrocomplex consists of more than 30 units, including eight agriculture farms with lands totalling 83,000 hectares. They have 23,400 cows and 23,500 pigs, and 10 poultry factories (with an average poultry stock of 2,400) located in the Vyselki, Pavlovskaya, Korenovsk, Ust-Labinsk, Slavyansk, and Starominskaya districts of the Krasnodar Territory, and in the city of Krasnodar. The company employs more than 8,500 people.
Today, the company works in the production, storage, and processing of plants, gardening, vegetable growing, processing and canning of fruit and vegetables, as well as production of meat and dairy products, compound feed, bakery goods, confectionary and pasta products.
Agrocomplex's compound feed plant produces more than 170,000 tonnes of quality fodder per year; its mill turns out up to 30,000 tonnes of flour and 200 tonnes of pasta per year; its confectionary has a capacity of 230 tonnes; its cereal mill produces 3,000 tonnes of eight cereals; its oil plant turns out 10,000 tonnes of vegetable oil per year; its dairy farms process 35,000 tonnes of milk, 200 tonnes of butter, 1,000 tonnes of cheese, and 15,000 tonnes of whole milk products. Its meat factory only operates with the stock and poultry raised at the company's farms. The meat factory turns out 40 tonnes of 113 brands of sausage, and 4 tonnes of premade products of 11 types per day.
Agrocomplex's specialised company Vyselkovskoye produces 10,000 tonnes of fruit and berries per year.
Agrocomplex holds 30% of the poultry market and produces a quarter of all eggs in the Krasnodar Territory.
A powerful auxiliary production line includes a railway shop, technical service, bio-laboratory, and an oil facility. The company has two elevators and a fleet of 900 trucks, and more than 800 tractors and other machines.
Agrocomplex has a network of 168 retail shops. It retails its produce in the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region, and wholesales it to the rest of Russia.
