Vladimir Putin: Mr Zhilkin, we have had a detailed discussion concerning regional problems, development, and social welfare. What would you like to add?

Alexander Zhilkin: Mr Putin, we have seen a public response to the way we tackle crucial regional problems. Issues have progressed from standstill thanks to your personal support and Government assistance. We will continue with the job, and do as much as the municipal and regional budgets can afford. We are getting federal allocations, too, and I think the city's situation will change beyond recognition within four years. Improvements in the entire region will take longer.
