Mr Putin visited a sports centre, a musical theatre, Astrakhan’s Kremlin and the Cathedral of the Assumption

Mr Putin inspected two building projects: a sports centre that will seat up to 7,000 spectators, whose first stage is now being completed, and a musical theatre. He also made a tour of Astrakhan's Kremlin, now being restored, and the Cathedral of the Assumption, which is also under restoration.
