Deere & Company is engaged in the production and sales of advanced agricultural, forestry and construction equipment, including for road construction.
The John Deere brand has had a presence in the Russian market for more than 100 years. Currently Deere & Company is implementing a 5-year programme of direct investment in the Russian Federation amounting to $500 million. The programme envisages establishing a centre for the manufacture of agricultural and later forestry and construction equipment, as well as a spare parts distribution centre in Domodedovo, Moscow Region.
In August 2010 the company loaned its equipment for fighting forest fires in the Shatura District, Moscow Region.
