Born in 1965 in Moscow.
Served with the Soviet Armed Forces in 1983-1985.
Education
1990: Graduated from Moscow Financial Institute with a degree in economics.
Experience
1990: Worked as an economist at the All-Union Association of Government and Bank Loans and later at various commercial enterprises.
1994-1996: Held executive positions at Alpha-Bank and MFK Bank.
1996-2001: Worked at Norilsky Nickel, as Chief of the Auditing Department, Director for Control and Auditing, Deputy Director-General and First Deputy Director-General of Norilsky Plant.
From February 2001: First Deputy Governor of the Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Area, Chairman of the Area's State Property Management Committee.
From October 2002: First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
From June 2003: Acting head of the Norilsk Administration.
November 2003-June 2007: First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
From June 2007: Economic advisor to the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
From: 2008: Director General of Kolmar Limited Liability Company.
On February 17, 2010 the local legislature unanimously elected Lev Kuznetsov as the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
