Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov discussed the construction of new hospitals and schools in the republic with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov discussed the construction of new hospitals and schools in the republic with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

According to Kadyrov, over 100 facilities have been commissioned in Chechnya this year.

"You planned to open nine hospitals, a maternity clinic, an oncology centre, five social support centres and 16 schools this year," Putin said. "It is December now. How is your work progressing?"

"All of these facilities have been commissioned and are now operating. Tomorrow, we will open the last school in the centre of Grozny," Kadyrov said, adding that the Chechen government is ahead of the construction schedule.

Meanwhile, he told Putin that the construction of Chechen State University's campus is also nearing completion and a ski resort is being built in the republic.
