This unpleasant incident with the Russian Prime Minister's limo happened by chance, the Federal Protection Service reported. On Thursday in the daytime, Mr. Putin's car suffered a tyre puncture on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The tyre was inspected by experts and no sign of ill-will was detected, Sergey Devyatov, head of the Federal Protection Service press office, said. "A tyre blows out rarely, but sometimes it happens. Emergency vehicles and state corteges go along the same roads as other cars," he said. Devyatov added that the car's wheel caught a broad metal object which forced the car to stop. "Federal Protection Service officials are ready for surprise on the road and a flat tyre is not a problem for them," said Devyatov.
