It features an archive of all the Premier's speeches and statements as well as articles about Putin published in Russian and foreign media. The site offers a considerable amount of audio and video information and more recently, a full photo gallery.

The Prime Minister's press secretary Dmitry Peskov announced that the interactive map posted in the subsection provides information on the Premier's trips inside the country and abroad. The places which Vladimir Putin has already visited will be highlighted. One can follow the Premier's work on a timeline, a horizontal running bar that will feature the highlights of the Premier's schedule and projected events. For now the site does not offer any forums or conferences, but Internet users will be able to ask a question or write a letter to the Premier using a special form.

Putin's Internet office will also have a "personal" section. "The site we are opening uses a very flexible structure. Over time new options may appear," the Premier's press secretary promised.

The Government's press service took four months preparing to launch the Prime Minister's new site. Both government and private companies took part in designing it, filling it with content and securing it from hacker attacks.

In addition to the new subsection, the Government's press service plans to modernise and redesign the entire government portal. "We plan to redesign the whole site in a similar style for a consistent look and interaction. The Government site will be technically upgraded," Mr Peskov said. Although the present Government site contains many good solutions and is user-friendly, it was created quite some time ago and needs to be updated, Mr Peskov said.

The official site of the RF Government was last updated in spring, but those changes were primarily cosmetic in character, RIA Novosti says.
