Prime Minister Putin stated that Ukraine’s successful and sustained development is of concern to Russia, since Ukraine is “one of Russia’s major partners in politics, the economy and trade.” He emphasised that the future of large companies and even some sectors of the Russian economy depends on Ukraine’s progress.
