At the exhibition, Mr Putin was shown the Dan unmanned aerial vehicle, the only commercially-produced Russian UAV. The exposition also featured warplane sighting systems, plasma control consoles, fire control systems and nanotechnology-based spacecraft components.
Prime Minister Putin was also shown a multi-role computerised machining centre that can handle metal blanks and parts up to 1.5 metres high and with a diameter of up to 2 metres.
Another workshop featured corporate products, including bulldozers, rippers and prime-movers, as well as dozens of other vehicles ranging from small farm tractors to 60-tonne giants.
Mr Putin climbed into a bulldozer cabin equipped with a GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver and a two-way communications system and was shown the vehicle's controls.
