Company officials explained to Prime Minister Putin that the VIP transport version of the Antonov An-148, which accommodates 10 people, has an unrefueled range of 7,000 kilometres. It took three years to create the jet.

According to United Aircraft Corporation President Alexei Fyodorov, the Antonov An-148 jet has been put into mass production. This aircraft is operated by two pilots and accommodates 80 people. The plane has its own ramp and is distinctive for its ability to land on unimproved airfields.
