Prime Minister Vladimir Putin with wife Lyudmila arrived at Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral to personally congratulate Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on his Name Day

The Prime Minister gave a St. George the Dragon-Slayer icon to the Patriarch as a gift.

"We would like to congratulate you and present this icon to you."

Patriarch Kirill cordially thanked Vladimir Putin for "the gift which is a symbol of Moscow and Russia, as well as a symbol of the triumph of good over evil."

"I greatly appreciate you and your wife coming here to congratulate me," the Patriarch said.
