Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a message to the delegates of the 7th nationwide energy forum Fuel-Energy Complex of Russia in the XXI century

The message said the forum had gained widespread publicity in Russia and elsewhere throughout the years of its existence.

"At present, the heads of state power agencies, representatives of the professional community, experts and scientists are set to discuss important issues concerning the national fuel and energy sector's development and to propose effective measures for improving the investment climate of its companies and strengthening national energy security in conditions of a global economic and financial crisis," the message said.

Mr Putin expressed hope that "the forum will be held in a constructive and creative atmosphere, and that its delegates will prepare practical recommendations on the basis of a profound, professional assessment."
