Prime Minister Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting of Vnesheconombank’s supervisory council

Good afternoon.
Today we are holding an open meeting of Vnesheconombank's supervisory council. The agenda includes discussions on several new investment projects and loan agreements. I will emphasise a few.
First, I would like to mention the programme for the financial recovery of the Sevmash shipbuilding yard. We are all aware of the problems which, unfortunately, this special enterprise has had to face, and we have repeatedly paid attention to these issues. I have recently visited the shipyard to familiarise myself with it and to have a look at the facilities. I hope that Vnesheconombank's assistance will help Sevmash get back on its feet and rearrange its financial structure, which means providing conditions for the shipyard's sustained development and modernisation of its engineering facilities.
At this meeting, we will also have to adopt a decision on financing investment projects of Russia's top titanium manufacturer VSMPO-Avisma. The finances will go for developing up-to-date materials and alloys, as well as introducing energy-saving equipment.
I should also mention Vnesheconombank's first experience in participating in the construction of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics venues, namely the Roza Hutor mountain ski resort. This is not just an Olympic venue but a venue intended to further provide recreational activities for winter sports and outdoor recreation fans and all people. The resort is expected to accommodate thousands of tourists.
I should add that this week, a meeting of the Presidential Council on Physical Fitness and Sports' Presidium is scheduled, and then a meeting with members of the International Olympic Committee.
Vnesheconombank is one of the major companies participating in the Olympic projects, and I expect the bank's top management to pay thorough attention to the related issues.
