Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a welcoming message to participants, organisers and guests of the 21st Moscow International Book Fair

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a welcoming message to participants, organisers and guests of the 21st Moscow International Book Fair

The message said, in part:
«I am happy to welcome all of you at the 21st Moscow International Book Fair.
I am truly glad that for many years the Moscow International Book Fair has enjoyed the deserved interest of its visitors as one of the world's biggest book exhibitions. The 21st fair, called ‘Open the Book', is again welcoming thousands of participants and guests - writers, publishers, printers, booksellers and readers. I consider it especially important that the fair programme includes a photographic and book exhibition devoted to the renowned Russian writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
I am positive that the fair will not only introduce its participants to new books but will also contribute to the expansion of business links and, most primarily, for the expansion of readership.
I wish you productive work, fascinating impressions and memorable new encounters».
