The Golovchino Children's Arts School, an institution of additional education for children, was opened in 2001. It is located in a 19th-century building, which is a former junior secondary school. The building is an architectural monument.
At present, the school offers six areas of specialization: piano, button accordion, accordion, fine arts, choreography and musical and choreography theory.
The school teaches 116 students and employs eight teachers. Since 2001, 14 graduates of the school have continued their special education at higher educational institutions in the Belgorod, Moscow, and Kharkov Regions. The Alliance and Serpentine dance groups won numerous regional, national and international competitions. The Merry Children brass band has been an award-winner at various regional competitions.
