Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan

The telephone conversation between Mr Putin and Mr Erdogan was held at the initiative of the Russian side. Putin and Erdogan discussed different issues related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including energy supplies, as well as prospects for MTS.
Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to his Turkish counterpart over the deaths of Turkish students following the collapse of a student hostel.
