The flight programme featured helicopters of the Mi and Ka families, the Su 35, Su 32 and MiG fighters and the RRG-100, Tu-204SM and Be-200ChS jets.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin watched the first exhibition flight of the Russian fifth-generation T-50 fighter jet. The presentation culminated with a performance by the aerobatics teams, Russkiye Vityazi and Strizhi.
Mr Putin watched the MAKS display flight programme along with Vice Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov, Russian Air Force Commander Alexander Zelin, Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu and Rostetkhnologii CEO Sergei Chemezov.
