Prime Minister Vladimir Putin takes part in laying the foundation stone for a monument to Pyotr Stolypin, following a meeting of the organising committee for the celebration of the prominent politician's 150th birthday anniversary

The monument will be erected in close proximity to the Russian Government House.

The inscription on the foundation stone of the monument reads: "Here a monument will be built to Pyotr Stolypin, a prominent Russian statesman, in honour of his 150th birthday anniversary."
