During the talk Vladimir Putin and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad discussed various aspects of trade and economic interaction between the two countries and cooperation in the energy field, including nuclear energy. In this context both sides stressed the need for timely construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
Among other topics discussed were bilateral cooperation in the field of transport and military-technical cooperation.
