Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visits exhibition of mini healthcare clinics

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visits exhibition of mini healthcare clinics

After attending the First Global Ministerial Conference on Healthy Lifestyle and Noncommunicable Disease Control, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, accompanied by Russian Minister of Healthcare and Social Development, Tatyana Golikova, and the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Margaret Chan, visited an exhibition presenting the mini healthcare clinics that are being set up across the country by the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development for instant diagnosis of the most common illnesses.

Prime Minister Putin stopped at the WHO information stand and several other stands specialising in the diagnosis of certain diseases.

Putin inspected equipment for the instant diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases and equipment for lung function tests. Putin decided to have his lungs checked and, following the instructions, exhaled into a special tube. The doctor said the Prime Minister's sample fell into the 'green' zone, which means he has healthy lungs without any trace of nicotine. Prime Minister Putin does not smoke.

As he left the exhibition, the Prime Minister thanked the conference participants and wished them success in their initiative.
