Prime Minister Vladimir Putin ordered to take urgent measures following the rail accident in the Amur Region

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin instructed the Minister for Emergency Situations, Sergei Shoigu, the Transport Minister, Igor Levitin, and the President of Russian Railways, Vladimir Yakunin, to take urgent measures following the rail accident in the Amur Region.

The Prime Minister has also ordered the meeting participants «to provide prompt medical assistance to the victims and every assistance to the other passengers who were on the train, and to take measures to establish the causes of the accident».
