Under the project to supply accommodation for the military in Kaliningrad, plans for 2011 include the construction of two more blocks of flats: a 135-apartment building with a combined area of 8,200 square metres in Dadayev Street and a 400-apartment building with a combined area of 26,300 square metres in Marshal Borzov Street. In 2011, an additional 140-apartment building (a total of 12,300 square metres) is to be built in Yegorov Street in the city of Baltiisk.

At the end of 2010, the construction of a 17-storey block of flats for Baltic Fleet servicemen was completed at 36 Chelnokova Street in Kaliningrad. The building owner was the Defence Ministry's Leningrad Military District Department, in charge of placing orders for capital construction, and the general contractor was Stroiimpuls-CMU2, a St Petersburg construction firm. This is a 136-apartment building with a combined area of 8,177 square metres (including 18 one-room flats, 18 two-room flats, and 36 three-room flats). The building has fully functional water supply, sewage, and heating systems. However, the Defence Ministry's housing department has yet to allocate flats to the servicemen. The building was constructed in the neighbourhood of Selma in the north of Kaliningrad, which at present is being vigorously developed. The area's key advantage is its proximity to the city centre and the availability of easy transport in the absence of water bodies or industrial facilities separating the two. Community and consumer facilities are being put in place in short order. In 2010, the sports complex Yantarny opened its doors in the area.

All told, 2010 saw six buildings constructed for the servicemen of the Baltic Fleet, including the block on Chelnokova Street, with a total of 720 apartments and a combined area of 43,800 square metres, in the Selma neighbourhood in the north of Kaliningrad.
