During the talk various aspects of trade and economic interaction between Russia and Saudi Arabia were discussed. The need was noted for intensive work to implement concrete projects agreed during top-level contacts in February 2007.
Vladimir Putin also touched upon the topic of ongoing negotiations on Russia's accession to the WTO, including in the context of the forthcoming Russian-Saudi contacts scheduled to be held in El-Riyadh shortly. The Russian side in the talks will be represented by Alexei Kudrin.
