Boyko Borissov: Mr Prime Minister, welcome to Bulgaria. First of all, I would like to introduce everyone on this side of the table: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior and Deputy Chairman of the ruling party, Tsvetan Tsvetanov; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Simeon Djankov; Minister of the Economy, Energy and Tourism, Traicho Traikov; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nickolay Mladenov; Minister of Environment and Water, Nona Karadjova; Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Totyu Mladenov; the Bulgarian Ambassador in Moscow, Plamen Grozdanov; Deputy Minister of the Economy, Energy and Tourism, Marii Kosev; and Executive Director of the Bulgarian Energy Holding, Maya Hristova. As you can see, we have prepared thoroughly for this meeting and are ready to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Vladimir Putin: Mr Prime Minister, you know most of my colleagues. I'd like to thank you for inviting me to Bulgaria. This is purely a working visit. Over the past months, we have discussed in detail our prospects for major projects in various areas, some of which will be completed in the immediate future. I am referring to the railway ferry between the Caucasus and the Bulgarian coast. Russia and Bulgaria are also cooperating on other projects, including energy, an area of critical importance.
As we agreed, today we will also focus on our cooperation in culture and education.
I'd like to thank you for your efforts to strengthen relations between Russia and Bulgaria. Thanks to your personal contribution we have managed to make headway in several critical areas of cooperation and coordinate a series of key agreements to be signed today, as planned. Thank you.
Boyko Borissov: I'd like to mention to our counterparts that I've just had a one-on-one conversation with Mr Prime Minister to discuss several issues on our bilateral agenda.
