Vladimir Putin expresses his condolences regarding the plane crash near Smolensk

“This is a terrible tragedy indeed. I talked with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and expressed my condolences. You and I were just talking about how nothing like this has ever happened in Russia. Prime Minister Tusk expressed a desire to come to the scene of the tragedy. I will go there to join him at the site of the disaster.”
