Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message of congratulations to Yevgeny Ustyugov, biathlon gold winner at the 21st Winter Olympics

 
 
 

The message reads, in part:

"I congratulate you with a beautiful and convincing victory. On the track and the firing range, you were better than all the rest and you confidently overtook your eminent competitors. You did this in the best traditions of the Russian biathlon school. You manifested steely endurance, great willpower, mastery and a genuine spirit of leadership.

"I wish you new achievements in sport and in life, as well as health and good fortune."
