Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message wishing a happy 75th birthday to Yevgeny Velikhov, Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Secretary of the Russian Public Chamber and State Prize winner
The message reads:
"You rightfully belong to a galaxy of outstanding and talented academics and prominent contemporary scientists, whose merits have won international acclaim. Your fundamental works and projects, landmark discoveries and inventions have made a weighty contribution to the development of the most advanced spheres of physics, to the preservation and continuation of the best traditions of Russian science.
"Your active civil stance, a responsible and truly statesman-like approach to tackling high-priority nationwide tasks, as well as your fruitful organisational and educational activity, also deserve every praise."
