Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulated residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on the 75th anniversary of the territory’s founding
The message reads, in part:
"You have reasons to be proud of your territory's history and the contribution you have made to the development of Siberia and the Russian state. Toughness, a big heart, generosity and hospitality have always been a Siberian's distinguishing traits. We will always remember the names of your outstanding compatriots who served the Fatherland in times of peace and war, and who made an invaluable contribution to our culture.
"Today your region, with its rich natural resources and a huge production and intellectual potential, is making a big contribution to the development of the national economy, the progress in research and technology and to raising the living standards and improving the quality of life in our country.
"I wish you success, health and happiness."
