"This event was an important milestone in the exploration of the Arctic which gave birth to the world's only icebreaker fleet. Since then, the Atomflot company contributed greatly to ensuring safe operation of the Northern Sea Route, the development of Russian science, as well as exploration of hard-to-reach mineral deposits.
"I am confident that Atomflot will continue to maintain and develop the good traditions of carrying out assigned missions effectively."
