Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to participants and guests of the Third World Congress of Compatriots

The message reads, in part:

"The forum has again brought together creative professionals, academics, political leaders, businesspeople, artists, and Russian-language media from many countries - all those who are spiritually linked with Russia and are sincerely interested in its successful development.

"Support for the expatriate community and promotion of high-profile projects in enlightenment, culture, education, and welfare are rightfully included among the key priorities of Russia's state policy. The plans and initiatives we discussed in St. Petersburg three years ago are being consistently implemented, evoking a live response. It is essential not to slacken efforts in further consolidating and strengthening our compatriots' concerted efforts and involving new participants, especially those of the younger generation, in this orbit of activity.

"I am confident that the Congress, marked by the spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation and packed with constructive and productive discussions, will spark a broad public response. I am confident it will contribute to preserving Russia's ample culture and the Russian language, to strengthening the common information space, and developing a fully fledged relationship between the compatriots and their historical homeland."
