In accordance with the executive order issued by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and the Russian government, a commission has been established for emergency recovery of the Nevsky Express railway disaster, emergency aid to the injured and the families of the deceased, as well as repair of infrastructure damaged in the disaster
The commission, which is headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov, includes Transport Minister Igor Levitin, Health and Social Development Minister Tatiana Golikova, Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev and Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin.
