Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a series of Government executive orders

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a series of Government executive orders allocating subsidies to federal state-owned unitary enterprises in the defence industry for 2009. These subsidies will come from the federal budget for the current year as part of the programme to avert bankruptcies.

The executive orders charge the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with allocating subsidies to the following companies:

- the Saratov Engineering Plant, which will receive up to 65.8 million roubles;

- the Shtamp Vannikov Engineering Plant in Tula, which will receive up to 192.2 million roubles;

- the Research and Development Institute of Electrical Appliances in Novosibirsk, which will receive up to 191.693 million roubles; and

- the Sibpribormash Biysk Production Association in the Altai Territory, which will receive up to 181.66 million roubles.
