Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen will visit St Petersburg on October 25 on Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s invitation

 
 
 

Mr Putin and Mr Vanhanen will take part in the 3rd Russian-Finnish Forest Summit, and open Finland House-a Finnish cultural, scientific and business centre. 

Bilateral talks scheduled for the same day are expected to concern the present state and prospects of Russian-Finnish partnership during the global economic crisis, the implementation of joint projects, and cooperation in the energy industry with an emphasis on the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
