Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the workers and veterans of the nuclear industry in connection with their professional holiday – Day of the Atomic Industry Worker
The message reads, in part:
"Your delicate and responsible work is a real contribution to national security. It helps consolidate Russia's prestige and authority as a nuclear power, and makes us more competitive in the world market. Despite the current economic difficulties, Russia continues implementing large-scale projects building nuclear power plants, developing nuclear weapons, and introducing advance technologies to guarantee the failsafe operation of nuclear power facilities.
"I'm confident that, relying on the latest scientific achievements, vast knowledge and accumulated experience, the workers of the Russian nuclear power industry will continue to achieve every objective put before them."
