Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to the distinguished Soviet figure skating coach Igor Moskvin on the occasion of his 80th birthday and in recognition of his 60 year long career
The message reads, in part:
"As a dazzling sportsman, distinguished coach and teacher, you made a great contribution towards establishing the unique traditions of the national figure skating school. You trained a whole galaxy of real stars: champions and prize-winners in Olympic games, world championships, and European competitions. Thanks to you, millions of fans experienced genuinely unforgettable emotions countless times, delighting at their victories, and taking pride in our skaters."
