Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed an executive order approving the Strategy for the Development of Physical Fitness and Sports to 2020. Apart from that, he instructed the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy as well as the concerned federal bodies of executive authority to develop and approve the strategy action plan within three months. 

Mr Putin also instructed the regional bodies of executive authority to develop measures to support the development of physical fitness and sports in accordance with the strategy.
