Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolences to the widow of Zinovy Vysokovsky, stage and screen actor, People’s Artist of Russia, on his death

The message reads, in part:

"Zinovy Vysokovsky belonged to the brilliant galaxy of true actors, custodians of the wonderful traditions of the Russian drama school.

"We will remember him as a talented, sincere and generous man. The master's wonderful works in film and on the stage will forever remain in the history of Russian culture."
